Hi, I’m Courtney, a designer with a strong background in intimates, shapewear, sleepwear, and activewear. I began my career by designing sleepwear for iconic brands like Victoria’s Secret and Disney, after which I spent time immersed in knit tops and activewear. But early on, I decided to devote myself to lingerie, my truest passion. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of designing bras, panties, and shapewear for a wide variety of brands, including those focused on plus-sized consumers such as Lane Bryant and Ashley Stewart.

In 2008, I noticed a major gap in the market for alluring, unpadded bras. So I took a leap of faith and founded my own bra company. Inspired by the 1950s Golden Age of Hollywood, I created a collection that was sold directly to customers through my company’s website, as well as in lingerie boutiques across the country. It was a thrilling adventure that taught me so much about entrepreneurship, creativity, and the art of connecting with consumers.

In 2016, I returned to the corporate world, designing sports bras for Champion at Hanes and for private label brands at Walmart. Then in 2019, I joined Thinx and embarked on an entirely new adventure, designing discreet and innovative period underwear. This role was a perfect blend of art and science, as I worked on creating leakproof products backed by rigorous consumer research and simulated true-to-life testing.
